We are licensed mental health therapists who specialize in the treatment of Eating Disorders. Diagnosable eating disorders, as well as the exhibition of disordered eating patterns, often co-occur with symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood instability, impulsivity, and low self-esteem (among others) that are also addressed. We have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by the creator Marsha Linehan's training institute Behavioral Tech. When applicable, DBT is used to confront cognitive distortions while providing a subset of skills to decrease or eliminate the engagement in certain maladaptive behaviors. We offer individual and family therapy for ages 12 and up. We also have (and are continuing to build) a network of other health and wellness professionals to assist our patients in the development of their own treatment team to address any and all concerns.
